Dream Weaver Is Casting For HormonesTV Episode 5
Rainbow Warriors -- Living Life as a Gay or Closeted Teen
Dream Weaver Communications is pleased to announce that it is now casting for the next Episode of HormonesTV. Called Rainbow Warriors, this new video will deal with the many issues surrounding coming out as a gay teen. It will attempt to give gay and straight youth, and adults a better understanding of what closeted youth go through, what resources are there to assist them, and to hopefully remove some of the stigma surrounding this topic.
It is difficult enough surviving the presures of growing up as a youth in today's society, let alone waging the continual battle with your self, your family and your peers as you face the possibility that you may be gay. If you get the courage to announce your new sexuality you're often put out on the street, disowned by your friends and family, financially broke and emotionally torn apart. Your life will never be the same and you have to learn coping strategies to deal with your new persona and accept the future as a positive road ahead. We hope that Rainbow Warriors will help make that a reality for more of today's gay youth.
In addition to looking for cast, we also need to speak to people about their experiences as youth who are closeted or have come out. The more accurately that we can portray the reality of the emotional turmoil of the young GLBTQ community the more effective this video will be.
Please take time to consider getting involved. Rainbow Warriors covers a very important topic that will require a large cast and support group to be successful.
